Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you ship?

We ship all of our products across Canada and to the United States via Canada Post.

What is the cost of shipping?

We currently have a flat rate shipping fee of $9.99 – anywhere in Canada and the United States. Order as much as you like, for just $9.99.

Do you have a minimum order?

We do NOT have a minimum order limit on any of our products, including our wholesale supplies. Order as much or as little as you like.

Do you have a warehouse… Or a store?

As we are currently a web-based store only, we do not have a warehouse to pick up orders and we do not (yet) have a “brick and mortar” location.

How long does it take to get an order?

Our guarantee is to have orders packed and sent within 2-3 business days. You will receive automatic notification when your order has been shipped. Note that during peak holiday periods, some orders may require slightly longer processing time.

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are unable to change or cancel orders once they have been submitted. Please place another order for any items you may have left off your original order.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

Once you submit your online order, you will receive an e-mail notification when your order has shipped.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 100% Customer Satisfaction Policy. Any item can be returned for a full refund within 10 days (no less than 10 calendar days) of receipt of shipment for a refund on the cost of goods if returned intact and in its original packaging (less shipping and/or delivery charges). Please note the following:

  1. Any returned WHOLESALE BOTANICAL DISPENSARY PRODUCT(S) for issue of refund are subject to verification of original weight and must be returned in original packaging.
  2. We cannot provide refunds for raw ingredients used in finished products. 
  3. We cannot provide refunds on the purchase of essential oils, as we cannot re-sell essential oils with a broken seal.
  4. We cannot provide refunds on the purchase of loose leaf teas.

Can I order something in bulk?

Yes, you may order any of our retail products in bulk. Some of our wholesale products may not be available in larger quantities due to limited current stock. Please Contact us to discuss your bulk needs.  Note: we do not currently offer essential oils in larger quantities than 10 ml. size.

How come your products don’t have a lot of color?

Our business and our products are based on purity. We only make and sell products made with 100% natural ingredients. Products that are brilliantly colored pinks, blues, greens, yellows, oranges, etc., are artificial and are only achieved chemically in a lab. We believe that great bath and body products do NOT need artificial color. When we do achieve color in our products, those are obtained only from natural elements and extracts we use: beet root, seaweed, tomato, cranberries, earth clay. Some colors can even come from essential oils.

What essential oils would you recommend I purchase for my baby/child?

Essential oils are incredible and highly therapeutic. However, one thing to always remember: they are very potent and highly concentrated. We do not recommend the use of essential oils on babies and/or on children under the age of 12. We’re not saying you absolutely must steer clear of them if you have children in your home. Some natural baby creams may contain Lavender essential oil, which is one of the gentlest essential oils to use. However, one of the best ways that essential oils can be used around children is by diffusing them at home. In a diffuser, the oils are diluted into water and then are attached to water molecules that become air-borne (vaporized) out into the air. That is the safest method to get the benefit of essential oils for children. Any essential oil can be safely diffused. Some of the best oils to diffuse at home with very young children is Lavender, Bergamot and Chamomile. In one medical study, Vetiver essential oil was shown to greatly calm children with ADD and ADHD.

I see you use and sell palm oil. Isn’t palm oil destroying forests and endangering the habitats of Orangutans?

The use of palm oil has been a controversial subject – not to mention a controversial product. We assure that if palm oil was destroying wildlife and the environment, we definitely would NOT be using it, as we are extremely passionate about ethical production methods for natural goods. Therefore, we have done research into the matter of palm oil. Most of the world’s palm oil production comes first from Indonesia and then Malaysia. Palm oil is used globally for food production, and in the manufacturing of soaps, candles, bio-fuel, and more.

The palm oil that we use here at Oasis Botanical Company, in our handcrafted soaps and offered for wholesale purchase, is sourced exclusively from Malaysia (Peninsular Malaysia). Our supplier sources and procures Palm Oil from well-established plantations. There are no implications of present or planned rainforest destruction in these areas as they are designated/zoned agricultural areas with borders. Our supplier has no contracts with plantations in Borneo or Sumatra for the supply of Palm Oil.

Malaysia is a leader when it comes to palm oil production and wildlife habitat conservation. In a joint news release in 2008 from Washington, D.C., the American Palm Oil Council joined forces with the Malaysian Government to oversee the Malaysian palm oil industry’s initiatives to protect the environment and conserve wildlife.

Wildlife and land preservation in Malaysia continues to be an ongoing commitment. The Malaysian palm oil industry works closely with the Malaysian government to conserve land and protect orangutans and create orangutan sanctuaries with regular checks by the American Palm Oil Council.
